West of the Mark is a 4-piece band based out of Buffalo, NY. They were established in 2004 and continue to be the most in-demand country band throughout the area. To date the band has performed nearly 1500 shows and in 2022 alone, they will top out at 113 performances! This year has included an unprecedented residency at a new venue in Buffalo called The Stage. From October of 2021 through today, they have performed every Thursday night for “country night” sponsored by the ACM award winning radio station WYRK 106.5FM. It continues to be the biggest “country night” in the region. HIGHLIGHTS include: Wotm has opened for over 65 National Acts in their career. Some of those include support acts for Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Lee Brice, and so many more. The band has been honored with numerous local awards by NIGHTLIFE Magazine. They include Best Country Band – 2010, 2017 and 2019 Best Country Group Vocals – 2017, 2018, 2019 Several individual honors for best in the respective fields as well. ARTVOICE Magazine award: Best Country Band – 2008, 2011, 2013 and 2014 YUENGLING BREWERIES sponsored the band in 2019 West of the Mark Scholarship from 2016-2020 generated over $24K The band is made up of seasoned musicians who treat the stage with respect and honor their craft. They have performed in every honky-tonk, juke joint, dance hall, club, county fair and festival in the area and continue to grow their reputation. Their setlist ranges from Johnny Cash, Alabama, artists throughout the 90’s, Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Kip Moore, Aldean, etc…harmonies are a concentration with this group as proof in the awards given. The energy is high at every level and maintained throughout each performance. They have a knack for engaging with crowds, large or intimate in size. They are widely considered the best country band in Buffalo, NY.
